Consulat General de France: Extraordinary things do happen. I was asked by the French Embassy in the United States in Washington, DC to make an illustrated intervention in their Consulate. The brief was clear and direct, to display well-known French visual references for their visitors so that every French person who visits the place would feel closer to home.
